Temar France is visual artist from New York City and graduate of  Smith College. Her work in photography, video and print explores the material and visual culture of black women’s erotic labor in popular media. Temar is the co-host of The Rap Scholars  and the  Marginalia Podcast where she merges her passion for the cultural study of black women in hip hop and the pedagogical possibilities of the podcast genre in modern culture and media.

In 2018 Temar became a staff contributor at Bloom Magazine where she publishes a quarterly essay on astrology for heathens.
